Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m sharing some balloon shaker cards that are sooo much fun to make! I love shaker cards anyway, and this new collection called “It’s My Party”, a collaboration between Spellbinders and Carissa Wiley, is absolutely perfect for creating them! This collection is so well designed, there are slots in the balloon dies for the string to go into so that it looks as though it’s coming from the balloon and not just stuck on top of it! There’s a coordinating stencil for the balloon bouquet with multiple patterns so you can personalise to your heart’s content, and the coordinating die/hot foil set even has accessories to make them into oranges/peaches, baubles, etc. so they can be used in a heap of different ways for all sorts of occasions!
These are really fun cards for playing about with the shaker elements! You could use glitter, beads, gems, dried flowers, small die-cuts, they’d all look gorgeous!
Check out the video tutorial below to see how I created these cards, with lots of hints and tips along the way, then scroll further to see the supply list!
