Stylish Stems Glitter Birthday Card

Good Morning!

Sometimes I feel that a girl just needs a bit of glitter in her life, and today’s Birthday card has that in abundance! It uses the lovely Sale-a-Bration glimmer paper and the Stylish Stems Bundle.

The Stylish Stems dies are clever little things, the flowers come in two parts; the detail die cuts the petals into the card, but there is a separate outer edge in case you wish to cut it out. So, for example, the small flower on the right hand side is just cut into the white card with the detail die and then backed with a piece of glitter paper, whereas the other flowers have been cut into the glitter paper, but then I’ve also used the second, outline die to cut these out of the paper. It’s great that you get the three colours in the Sale-a-Bration pack of glimmer paper as it means that both the flowers and the leaves are cut from the same pack (the leaves are just a one-step process).

The sentiment is from another Sale-a-Bration item; the Designer Tee stamp set. This is then cut out with the smaller of the two label framelits from the Stylish Stems set, and backed with glimmer paper cut with the larger of the two framelits.

The card is 5″ x 5″, with a 4 3/4″ square of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock on top of this, and a further 4 1/4″ square of Whisper White layered on top.
