Testing Affordable Cardstocks with the Betterpress System

Hello Crafters! How are you? Have you tried the Betterpress Letterpress system from Spellbinders? It’s a fantastic letterpress system that produces FANTASTIC results! It’s a fairly new system to me, so I’ve not used it a heap of times yet, but every time I have it’s produced GORGEOUS prints, right from the very first time! One of the down-sides of the system is that the paper that is recommended for it is very expensive. This is to be expected because it’s cotton paper, and it produces a really beautiful effect, but I decided to test out some of the more affordable cardstocks that I have in my stash to see what kind of results I could get with them! And of course I had to make some cards with the resulting panels!

The Betterpress plate that I chose to use for this experiment was the Cosmos Backdrop from Spellbinders. It’s such a pretty all-over flower print and perfect for testing these cardstocks!
