Handmade Card created by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin' Retreat using your Cardstock Scraps with embossing folders to create beautiful backgrounds
Hello Crafters! How are you? I have some fun techniques today that show you how to use up your scraps of cardstock by combining them with your embossing folders to create beautiful backgrounds for your cards. I’m using the embossing folder and 3D embossing folder of the month from Spellbinders for today’s video, but you could use any that are in your collection. I’ve also decorated the cards with some of the other clubs of the month. If you love stitching on your cards, make sure you stick around to see some of the fun stitches you can use to embellish your stitching dies. Every month the stitching die is the one I look forward to the most – I just love that added touch of luxury that the embroidery brings to your cards!
Check out the owl all made up too! I know that the owl was a firm favourite when I did my sneak peek of the clubs on Wednesday – he’s sooo cute! And sooo many ways to use him – school/university colours, a magic/Harry Potter theme, without all of the accessories for a more natural look… there are tonnes of options!
