Using Basic Shapes to Create a Sparkly Birthday Card

Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m sharing a simple card using basic shapes and items that most of us already have in our stash, and then embellished with some of the fab new embossing powders from Wow! I’ve used the new Ice Crystal Trio and the Pastiche embossing powders that were released at the end of July. The Ice Crystal trio has huge glitter shards incorporated in the embossing powder, and the Pastiche is a thick, sparkly mixed media embossing powder that gives a gorgeous subtle shimmer with a fine gold glitter running through it. I’ve used these to decorate some basic shapes and used some ribbon from my stash to create a card that is simple but perfect for lovers of a bit of bling!
