Good Morning Crafters! How are you this morning? I’m excited because we’re in the midst of our Online Extravaganza for Black Friday, but it ends tomorrow so check out the “Shop Now” button at the bottom of this post if you want to shop the online extravaganza and get up to 40% off some beautiful products.
But anyway, onto today’s card; I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m a sucker for a lovely font! And the Watercolour Christmas stamp set has this in bundles, and those cute little trees too!! This card combines this lovely stamp set with the Navy and Copper colour scheme that I’m so in love with this year! I hope you like it too as I have a couple more projects planned before Christmas in this colourway too! This card is really simple to make, so check out the tutorial below to make it yourself!
To create your card blank, take an A5 piece of Night of Navy cardstock and score and fold it in half.
Cut a piece of Copper Foil Sheet to 1/4″ smaller than your card front each way, then another piece of Night of Navy cardstock 1/4″ smaller each way than this.
Towards the bottom of your Night of Navy cardstock, stamp the three trees from your Watercolour Christmas Stamp Set in Versamark Ink and sprinkle with Copper Embossing Powder. Use your heat tool to melt the powder to give you your lovely copper trees.
Use the largest of your stitched square framelit dies to cut a square of Night of Navy Cardstock, then use your trimmer to cut a square 1/4″ bigger than this from Copper Foil Sheet. Stamp the “Season of Cheer” sentiment in versamark ink onto your Night of Navy square and heat emboss with Copper Embossing Powder. Then, layer up all of your pieces onto your card base as shown in the picture, using Stampin’ Dimensionals to give a little height to the sentiment.
Why not finish your card by cutting a piece of Very Vanilla card stock 1/4″ smaller than your card front and heat embossing a sentiment from your stamp set onto it, then adhere this inside your card to give you a place to write your message? Otherwise, you could use a metallic pen to write your message directly onto the Night of Navy cardstock.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
