Light Up Winter Scene artwork created using dies from Diamond Press, Lights from Chibitronics and a frame from Pop-Up Frames
Hello Crafters! How are you? I have something a bit different to share with you today; a light-up winter scene to decorate your home! Now, don’t get me wrong, you could absolutely make this into a card (it’s the perfect size for a 5″ x 7″ if you like a bigger cards size) but Pop-Up frames sent me some frames that I wanted to try out and I thought that this would be a perfect piece to adorn your walls or shelves for the winter season!
As I mentioned, the frame I used is from Pop-Up Frames. They have created a frame that you put together yourself (it takes just a few minutes) made from a really nice quality of cardboard, so it’s easy to recycle, affordable, and light enough that it can be hung with Blu Tack if you don’t want to go hammering into the walls. It can also stand up on a shelf. They’ve kindly given me a discount code to share with you guys if you want to give them a try – enter the code STAMPINRETREAT to get 15% off selected products: SMALL MULTIPACK (works with 3, 5 or 10 packs), MEDIUM MULTIPACK (works with 3, 5 or 10 packs) and the Picture Frame 3-pack for Uni Students. They’re great for creating picture walls as each size of frame (medium or small) can be created into several different sizes. For example, you can adjust the small kit to create any one of the below sizes of frames
The dies are layering scene dies from Diamond Press and they’re awesome! Check out the video to see the die set – there are sooo many different dies to decorate the scene in different ways, or even to use on their own! I thought it would look really cute if the stars lit up, so I used my Chibitronics LED stickers to light them up.
