Handmade Christmas Tree Ornaments created by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin' Retreat using the Nordic Ornaments Dies from Spellbinders
Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m sharing some ideas for using your ornament dies in different ways to create some beautiful Christmas tree decorations. I’ve sometimes shied away from doing this in the past as I’m worried about them looking “too handmade”, but this year I’m embracing it, and using lots of layers to ensure they are sturdy and will stand the test of time. I’m actually delighted with how they turned out and will definitely be making more!!
For my decorations I used the beautiful Nordic Ornaments dies from Spellbinders. You may have seen a video I created a while ago using these dies to make some cards (if you didn’t you can find that HERE), but they’re actually perfect for making tree decorations – they’re a great size, and the additional piece you can add on to create the “hanger” portion of the bauble actually also has the benefit of strengthening the part that the ribbon goes through.
You can find the video tutorial for all 3 of these baubles below, or you can scroll a little further to find the supply list.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to create it. Please note that some of the products used may have been gifted to me by the relevant companies.
