Handmade Cards created by Sarah Phelan from Sarahs Stampin Retreat using boring patterned papers
Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I have the fourth installment of my paper pad use-up series!! For those of you that have been following along, thank you SO MUCH for your support!! I have been so happy to see all of the lovely responses that I’ve had to this series! For those of you who are new around here – I’m on a mission to create cards to use up an entire pad of patterned paper!! Mostly because I’m TERRIBLE at buying them and then only using a few sheets, and I’m sure I’m not the only one!! If you’d like to see the rest of the series so far, you can find the other installments HERE (we’ve already made 25 cards!). For this instalment I decided to focus on the BORING patterned papers!! You know the ones I mean, the ones that you either skip over or just have as innocuous backgrounds?! I decided to see what I could do to make them really INTERESTING, even, in some cases, the focus of the cards!!
I’ve a few tips and tricks along the way, and I hope you’ll agree that the results are really different!
You can take the techniques that I will share with you in this video and use them on many of the patterned papers you already have in your stash.
You can check out the video tutorial for all 5 of these cards below, or scroll a little further to view the supply list.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to create it. Please note that some of the products used may have been gifted to me by the relevant companies.
