Large Peony Match Box Gift Box Tutorial created by UK Stampin' Up! demonstrator Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin' Retreat using the Prized Peony bundle from Stampin Up
Hello Crafters, how are you today? Are you looking forward to the weekend? It’s Friday today, so time for another video tutorial! Today’s project is a large match box style gift box – it’s large enough to fit a set of A6 cards with C6 envelopes, but it has a tonne of other uses, such as gifting chocolates, jewellery, a lovely silk scarf, etc.
I’ve chosen to use the dies and papers from the gorgeous Peony Garden suite again today. I show you in the video how to make up the large peony from the die set – they are really unique dies – I’ve never seen this sort of design before where the pieces slot into each other to create a gorgeous dimensional flower. And it’s REALLY easy to do when you know how as well!
Product ListI’ve included the Prized Peony Bundle as an addition in the shopping list, even though I’ve not used the stamp set, because due to the discount you get when you buy a bundle, you can get the stamp and die bundle for only £16 more than the die set on its own (and the stamp set usually costs £22).
I hope you enjoy this video tutorial. Please scroll below after you’ve watched it to find the dimensions and the full shopping list for this project.
Base – piece of Petal Pink cardstock measuring 8 1/4″ x 10″, scored at 3/4″ and 1 3/4″ on each side.
Patterned Paper Wrap – using the box base as a guide, score down the sides of the box, then 1 inch out from each score line (see video for more details)
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
