Hello Crafters! How are you today?! I wanted to share a really simple card today that anyone can make but that looks elegant and luxurious. The background is that Forever Greenery DSP that I’ve shown you a couple of times before on different projects and is one of my absolute favourite packs, and I’ve added a little luxury with the leaves from the Forever Gold laser-cut paper (they just pop out of the paper really easily) and the stitched rectangle cut from some gold foil sheet.
Product ListTo create the card base, score and fold an A5 (half of an A4 sheet) piece of cardstock in half. Cut a piece of patterned paper from the Forever Greenery DSP pack 1/4″ smaller than your card front and glue it onto the front of your card.
Stamp your sentiment (mine is from the Best Year stamp set – this is definitely my favourite sentiment set at the moment!) onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock in Garden Green ink and cut around it with a stitched rectangle die.
Note: If you don’t have the stitched rectangle dies in your life you NEED them!! They are sooo useful and I use them on most of my projects!!
Use the same stitched rectangle die to cut out a rectangle from both a scrap of Gold Foil Sheet and a scrap of Garden Green cardstock. Arrange the 3 rectangles on the front of your card along with a couple of the leaf sprays from the Forever Gold laser-cut pack and attach using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
