Handmade Birthday Card created by UK Stampin' Up! demonstrator Sarah Phelan for Sarah's Stampin Retreat using the Forever Gold Laser-cut paper from Stampin Up
Hello Crafters! How are you today? I thought that I’d share with you another simple card with a luxury feel provided by those luscious Forever Gold Laser-cut papers. That’s what’s doing most of the work here – the leaf layer on this card is just one of the many pop-out laser-cut pieces on one of the sheets (you get 6 sheets in the pack, 3 each of 2 designs and they’re crammed full of lovely designs to add to your cards).

To start your card, create a 5″ square card blank by scoring and folding a 5″ x 10″ piece of Petal Pink cardstock in half.
Next, cut a piece of Gold Foil Sheet 4 1/4″ square and a piece of Basic Gray cardstock 4″ square. Glue them together and then add them to your card using Stampin’ Dimensionals (foam pads).
Cut a piece of Petal Pink cardstock to fit in the centre of the gold foil leaf layer, and stamp your sentiment using Basic Gray ink (I used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set). Add this to the centre of the leaf layer and then add it to your card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
