Handmade Birthday Card created by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin Retreat using the My Monthly Super Hero Kit for May 2026 from Hero Arts
Hello Crafters! How are you? It’s been a while but I’m excited to be back and I’m hoping to get back to regular posts and videos! Today I’m sharing the May My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts. I always look forward to this landing on my doorstep each month because they’re always so beautifully curated with products that I truly love. This month’s kit is birthday themed and there’s so much in it! I created 3 cards, but do check out the video as there are actually quite a few products that I didn’t have a chance to use, and they’re really good!! The thing I love about this particular kit is that you really can make birthday cards for anyone with it! There are presents, balloons, cute birthday icons and beautiful sentiments that all work wonderfully together, and could be customised with colours and patterns to suit the taste of the recipient. There’s even a full alphabet die set!! I created the below balloon card for today’s video, but this set is actually a shaker die set, so check out a video I’ll have coming to you in a couple of weeks where I’ll show you how to make a shaker version – the die set even cuts out the shaker pieces!
Check out the video below to see the tutorial for all of these cards, then scroll to the bottom of the post to find links to the supplies you will need to create it!
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to create it. Please note that some of the products used may have been gifted to me by the relevant companies.
