Textured Handmade Birthday Card created by Sarah Phelan from Sarah's Stampin' Retreat using Wow! Embossing Powders
Hello Crafters! How are you? I’m thinking of today’s card as a bit of a happy accident. I wanted to create a textured birthday card using this die-cut washi tape with Wow! Embossing powders. However, I was going for a much cleaner look. But I had an accident while I was melting the powders and I ended up with a lot more texture than I was looking for. And I LOVE it!! That’s surely got to be the best part of crafting? When you make a mistake and it actually turns out better than the original plan?!
These fun industrial-style Building Blocks embossing powders are part of the release that Wow! did with Seth Apter in June. I think they’re great for cards that have a bit more of a masculine feel to them! I think that they work really nicely with the die-cut graph washi from Altenew.
Just a note as well… the sentiment is from In Love Art Shop – if you’re purchasing that (or anything else) from them, don’t forget to add in my discount code – sarah25 for 25% off your ENTIRE ORDER!!
