Handmade Cards created by Sarah Phelan from Sarahs Stampin Retreat using the Mental Health UK Magazine #1 from Craft Essentials
Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m sharing some cards that I created for the Mental Health UK craft magazine. The cards I created use the included kit, and it was such a pleasure to do because it’s something that’s really close to my heart!! I find that crafts really help my own mental health. The act of creating with my hands, and particularly colouring and fussy cutting, really helps me to be mindful. When my little boy was a baby, if I managed to make something small, even just a tag in a day, it made me feel as though I had achieved something and really brought me joy. So that is what I hope to do for others. I hope to inspire you to create through my videos, and I also run free, in-person craft classes in Shepherd’s Bush, London, to help get those that I can meet in person creating also (everybody’s welcome, so do pop by if you can – message me for details!!)
I usually have a theme to my videos, but for this one, I just had some fun with some creative techniques that I find mindful. Let me know in the comments what you like to do that boosts your mental health!
To see the tutorial for all 3 of these cards, check out the video below, or scroll a bit further if you’re looking for the supply list and the gorgeous magazine, with a full craft kit included!
I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to create it. Please note that some of the products used may have been gifted to me by the relevant companies.
