Handmade Kids Birthday Card – Fussycut Dinosaurs with Dinoroar

Hello Crafters! How are you today? Have I managed to make you fall in love with these dinosaurs yet? I honestly don’t know how anyone could resist them! Today’s kids birthday card showcases the dinosaurs from the large dinosaur paper in the Dinoroar pack. They’re just soooo cute!! I like fussy-cutting anyway, but you don’t need to be an expert with this paper – the shapes are really easy to cut.

Tutorial – Handmade Kids Birthday Card – Fussycut Dinosaurs with Dinoroar

Start by creating an A6 card blank by scoring and folding an A5 piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock in half, then cut a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock 1/4″ smaller than your card front and stick it to your card.

Next, cut a selection of dinosaurs from the sheet of large dinosaurs from the Dinoroar DSP pack. Add them across your card using Stampin’ Dimensionals (foam pads) to pop them up.

Stamp your sentiment using Pretty Peacock ink onto Whisper White Cardstock (I used the Happy Birthday from a stamp set that has now sold out, but I’ve included a link to the Peaceful Moments stamp set in the shopping list which has a similar looking sentiment. Or you could just use any sentiment that you have in your stash!). Use a Stitched Rectangle die to cut it out, then cut a rectangle 1/4″ bigger from Pretty Peacock cardstock.

Glue the sentiment to the Pretty Peacock rectangle, then add it to the card using foam pads. Finish the card by adding a few Lovely Lipstick gems.

I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
