Hello Crafters! How are you today? I’m well into the swing of making my Christmas cards now, and I’m trying to make different colours and types of cards so that I have something to suit everyone I need to send cards to once I’m done, so I made this card using the Background Stamping technique in two colourways – the traditional red and green, and then the non-traditional pink and mint. Which do you prefer? Traditional or non-traditional? Let me know in the comments below!

Tutorial – Background Stamping with Tag Buffet
To create your card base, score and fold an A5 (8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″) piece of cardstock in half [I have created a separate shopping list for each card below, so refer to these for colours].
Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 1/4″ smaller than your card front (3 7/8″ x 5 5/8″) and stamp it all over with images from your tag buffet stamp set. Colour the images using your Stampin’ Blends.
Use your Stitched So Sweetly dies (the second biggest) to cut a piece of cardstock that matches your card base, then heat emboss it with the large sentiment from your stamp set. [not sure how to heat emboss? check out our tutorial HERE]
Add your sentiment to your card with Stampin Dimensionals (foam pads)
