Good Morning Crafters!! Today I’m sharing the Father’s Day card that I made for my Dad, but I think if you changed the greeting it would be great for any number of occasions – it’s a fab unisex card! It uses the gorgeous Tropical Chic stamp set and the coordinating dies.

Tutorial: Tropical Chic Father’s Day Card
To create your card blank, score and fold a piece of A6 Thick Whisper White cardstock in half. Then cut the layers, both the same width as your card – a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock 3 1/8″ high, and a piece of Whisper White cardstock 2 1/2″ high.
Swipe your Embossing Buddy across your Shaded Spruce cardstock, then stamp your greeting (mine came from the Well Said stamp set) at the bottom in Versamark ink. Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder, shake off the excess, then melt with your heat tool.
Stamp each of your 3 leaves twice in green inks (I used Shaded Spruce, Old Olive and Garden Green) on scraps of Whisper White cardstock, then cut them out with the coordinating dies.
Stamp the small falling leaf pattern all across your Whisper White layer in Grey Granite ink. Then, add your leaves to your panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals, making sure that part of the leaves hang off the panel. Turn it over and trim off the parts of the leaves that overhang, then add this layer to your Shaded Spruce piece and add them both to the card.
