Hello Crafters! How are you today? Do you like colouring? If so, then today’s card is definitely one for you! Why not stamp all of the components first and then colour them in front of your favourite programme, listening to your favourite station/podcast/audiobook, or even just enjoying some peace and quiet! The large sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set is perfect for adding a bit of impact to your card!

Tutorial – Celebrate Sunflowers Handmade Thank You Card
To create your card blank, score and fold an A5 (half of an A4 sheet) piece of Basic Black cardstock in half. Then, cut 2 pieces of Whisper White cardstock 1/4″ smaller than your card front.
On one of the pieces of cardstock stamp part of a large sunflower (place the image partly on and partly off the cardstock to do this); this will be the piece that goes inside your card. Then stamp large sunflowers all over the other piece of cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. On a scrap of cardstock stamp one of the small sunflowers.
Colour all of your sunflowers, colouring around the sunflowers on the sheet of multiple sunflowers with the Light Shaded Spruce pen, and outlining them with the Dark Shaded Spruce. Cut out your small sunflower.
Heat emboss your sentiment on a strip of Basic Black card 1/2″ wide using White embossing powder.
Cut a strip of Vellum about 1 3/4″ wide and glue your sentiment strip onto it. Add your sunflower cardstock to the front of your card, and the piece with a partial sunflower on it inside your card, then glue the vellum sentiment strip across the front of your card, ensuring that you only put glue behind the part covered by the black sentiment strip so that it doesn’t show through the vellum.
Add Stampin’ Dimensionals (foam pads) to the back of your small sunflower and add it to your sentiment strip to complete your card.
