Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m sharing an explosion box gift box tutorial. A lot of people create gorgeous explosion boxes as memory keepsakes or elaborate cards, but I decided to add a gift box inside mine to make it into fun gift packaging. I think it’s a lovely way to give a gift such as money, to keep the recipient guessing as they open it and to make it a more personal gift.
This is also a really nice way to use up some of your patterned paper. It works really nicely with packs which have elements you can fussy cut like the cakes and sentiments I’ve used here. I used the Magical Birthday Boy paper pack from Echo Park for this one. If you like this patterned paper, you might also like the 12 cards I created using the cut-apart card front sheets from this pack which you can find HERE.
