Hello Crafters! How are you? I’ve got some really fun cards to share with you today. I was sent these Funky Flowers stamps in October, and thought they were really fun, but with all of the Christmas things that I wanted to share with you, I’ve only just got around to posting this video now!! I thought these stamps were great for Mixed Media type projects, so I thought it would be fun to use book pages in different ways to create some cards. This is a great way to use up different bits and pieces with text on, and it’s fun to play with different textures – think book pages, magazine pages, newspaper, text background stamps, the list goes on and on!! As I didn’t have anything around that I wanted to upcycle, I just printed out my book pages after doing a google search!!

The stamps are from Polkadoodles, and there’s a whole variety of them, so you’re sure to find a set you like. Since they’re created to look sketchy as opposed to realistic, I took the opportunity to do some quick and easy block colouring. I think that the bright colours give them a nice contemporary edge!
