Hello Crafters! How are you? Today I’m bringing you another patterned paper video, but not from the use-up pack. I’ll be back with another video in the series where we’re using up a whole pack of patterned paper next week, but today I wanted to share with you some cards I created using the card front cut-aparts from your paper packs. I think that these can sometimes be difficult, because it can feel like cheating just to put the cut-apart on a card front and be done with it, but there often isn’t a lot of room left for us to be creative. So, I’ve created a whole heap of cards using card front panels in different ways to create quick and simple cards.

I decided to use this paper pack today because it’s great for filling up your Birthday Card stash. It’s an Echo Park paper pack called Magical Birthday Boy, but I actually think it’s perfect for creating cards for boys and girls of all ages. My dad will definitely be getting one of these, and so will a little girl in my son’s class who’s party it is today. I love that the images scream birthday without being specific to a certain hobby (one of my partner’s bug bears is that a lot of “masculine” craft collections have golf/classic cars/fishing on them, none of which are things he’s particularly into)
