Turn Your Drab Envelopes into something really pretty with the Spellbinders Wax Seal of the Month

Hello Crafters! How are you? I’m super excited to be joining the Spellbinders Pages and Phrases blog hop today! There’s also a Giveaway, so read on to see the details of that! Each participant on the hop is going to show you a different one of this month’s Spellbinders Clubs and the one I have to share is the Wax Seal of the Month!

Turn Your Drab Envelopes into something really pretty with the Spellbinders Wax Seal of the Month

This month it’s a gorgeous sentiment seal that says “so very proud of you”. For me, the best thing about this club is that you not only get the wax seal itself each month, but also a full bag of wax beads, so after a few months you have a whole collection that you can mix and match!

Spellbinders May 2025 Wax Seal of the Month

I love wax seals as a beautiful way to enhance any of your papercraft projects (how beautiful would this be as a sentiment on a card?!), but my favourite thing to do with them is to make envelopes pretty, so that’s what I decided to do for today’s post! All it takes is a wax seal, a little gold paint pen, and 2 die-cut leaves to create an embellishment for an envelope that’s sure to make the recipient feel special! And the best part… it only takes 5 minutes!! Look how nicely the full project turned out!

  9. Love this! Still trying to master the wax seals, mine never seem to turn out like I want.

    1. I’m so pleased you like it. I find pouring it as soon as it’s melted and keeping pouring in the same place and letting it flow out by itself work best for me. I hope that’s helpful.

  10. I smile every time I see sealing wax, remembering my sealing wax on envelopes when I was growing up! Great now to see sentiments and decorations instead of simple initials! Surely the envelope will be appreciated as much as the card will be!

    1. That’s so nice! And yes, I agree, I think it makes the envelope really special!

  11. I had used wax seals for my calligraphy years ago. Then I forgot all about them. I am going to start using them on my cards. Beautiful.

    1. I’m glad to hear you’re going to get them out again!! Thanks Natalia!
