Good Morning crafters!! I’ve been having fun today with this week’s Global Design Project sketch #GDP178. I’ve included the sketch below.
I decided to use the Wonderful Romance bundle because I LOVE it – I just got it in my last order and couldn’t wait to have a play!! What’s on your wish list from the Occasions catalogue?
Check out the tutorial below if you want to create your own version!!

Tutorial – Wonderful Romance Card
To create your card blank, score and fold an A5 piece of Soft Seafoam cardstock in half. Cut a piece of Grey Granite cardstock 1/2″ smaller than your card front each way, then a piece of Petal Pink cardstock 1/4″ smaller than the Grey Granite piece. Put the Petal Pink piece through your Die Cutting Machine in the Subtle Embossing Folder, then layer up your cardstock pieces on the front of your card. To create the topper, stamp the large floral/leaf image from the Wonderful Romance stamp set and colour it. I used Soft Seafoam and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends to coordinate with the cardstock colours, then added some Mint Macaroon to the smaller leaves to add a little depth. Cut out the image with the coordinating die, and also cut the oval from the same set from Grey Granite cardstock. For the final element, stamp the “Together is a wonderful place to be” sentiment in Versamark ink on a scrap of Grey Granite Cardstock. Pour over some White Embossing powder and heat it with your heat tool. Trim the cardstock to fit the sentiment and use the Triple Banner punch to trim each end. Add your topper elements to the card, putting Stampin’ Dimensionals under the sentiment to pop it up. To create a professional looking finish on the inside of the card, I like to add a piece of Whisper White cardstock 1/4″ smaller than your card front. I stamped some leaves in 2 of the corners with Grey Granite ink to finish it off. I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
