Hello Crafters! How are you? I hope you had a lovely weekend. It was a special one for us as we saw my family for the first time since lockdown began! It was so nice!! I have a nice cheery notecard for you today – the Mango Melody gives a really vibrant look to this card which is just toned down a little with the Basic Gray. I think it gives the Forever Greenery suite a whole different look and is perfect for a summer notecard!

This card uses quite a few different products as the Forever Evergreen bundle is joined by the Tin Tile embossing folder and the Stitched so Sweetly die used for the sentiment, but you can always swap in another die or embossing folder that you have in your collection. However, if you do want any of the products that I’ve used, there is, as always, a full shopping list at the bottom of my post!
Tutorial – Mango Melody meets Forever Greenery in a cute notecard
To create the card base, score and fold an A5 piece (half of a full A4 piece) of Mango Melody cardstock in half. Then, cut a piece of Basic Gray cardstock 1/4″ smaller than your card front, and a piece of Whisper White cardstock 1/4″ smaller than that.
Use one of the Forever Fern stamps to stamp all the way across the Whisper White piece in Basic Gray ink. Colour around the images with the Dark Mango Melody Stampin’ Blend.
Layer both the Basic Gray and the stamped piece of cardstock up on your card front, then cut a strip of Basic Gray cardstock approximately 1 1/2″ wide to sit across your card and emboss it with the Tin Tile embossing folder. Glue this towards the bottom of your card.
On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the fern image twice and the “Hello” sentiment once in Basic Gray ink. Cut a rectangle around the the “hello”, and use the coordinating die to cut out the fern images (or cut around them using scissors if you don’t have the dies).
Cut out a piece of Basic Gray cardstock using the Stitched So Sweetly die, and tie a bow from the tulle Polka Dot ribbon, then layer all of these elements onto your card to complete it.
