Hello Crafters! How are you today? Today’s card is so insanely shiney that it was super difficult to capture in the photograph – I hope you can see it well enough! It uses one of the gorgeous pieces of the Forever Gold laser-cut paper that I’m using on SOOO many of my cards right now! It really helps to give them that luxury feel! This card is super quick to make, so a great one if you want to do something creative but don’t have much time!
My card uses the circle layering dies and the Peaceful Moments stamp set, but you could use any sentiment that fits inside the circle, and if you have the Stitched Shapes dies there is a circle pretty much the same size as the one I used on this card that comes with those dies too. However, you do NEED the Forever Gold Laser-Cut papers – if you’re anything like me, once you’ve picked it up you won’t want to put it down again!

Tutorial – Navy and Forever Gold Handmade Birthday Card
To start your card, create a 5″ square card blank by scoring and folding a 5″ x 10″ piece of Night of Navy cardstock in half.
Next, cut a 4 1/4″ square piece of Gold Foil sheet, and a 4″ square piece of Night of Navy cardstock, glue them together and add them to your card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (foam pads).
Heat emboss your sentiment on a scrap of Night of Navy cardstock using gold embossing powder and then cut it out using the circle from the circle layering dies that fits inside the round foil piece from the Forever Gold papers. [Not sure how to Heat Emboss? Check out my video tutorial HERE]
Glue the sentiment circle to your Forever Gold foliage piece and then add it all to your card using Stampin’ Dimensionals (adhesive foam pads).
It’s a really simple card to make but definitely has a luxury feel!
