Best Dressed Handmade Lipstick Make-Up Card

Good Morning Crafters! How are you today?

Today I’m sharing this beautiful lipstick card! I created this for one of my workshops – it has a base of Blackberry Bliss cardstock, created with the people that attend my workshops in mind – this is a favourite colour for lots of them!!

I love the Best Dressed paper pack that I used to create this card because it is great for lots of people – for those that love to dress up there are lipstcks, perfumes, handbags and shoes, all begging to become the feature of the card, and for those that don’t, there are lots of gorgeous florals and stripes.

This card is super simple to make – read below for the tutorial and shopping list

Tutorial – Simple Handmade Lipstick Card

To create your card blank, score and fold an A5 piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock in half

Next, cut a piece of floral paper from the Best Dressed Paper pack down to 1/4″ smaller than your card front, and layer this onto your card.

Stamp your sentiment from the Dressed to Impress stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock and cut around it using the Stitched Rectangle dies. Cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock 1/4″ bigger than the sentiment piece, and layer the sentiment on top of it. Add this to your card using Stampin’ Dimensionals (foam pads).

To complete your card, cut out two lipsticks from the Best Dressed paper pack, and glue them to opposite corners of your sentiment.

Please note that Stampin’ Up! has just launched a new website, so there is a delay with the company that I use to produce the shopping list for you. Therefore, the below links may take you to the generic Stampin’ Up home page instead of the appropriate product page. If this happens, please put the description shown into the search bar and you should find what you’re looking for. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused.

I hope you enjoyed this project. Click the links below to shop the products used to make it.
