New Technique for Adding Colour to Your Dark-Based Cards

Hello Crafters! How are you? I was playing around with some ways of adding colour to dark based cards recently, and I just HAD to share this one with you! It uses Posca Pens to add colour and would work on all different colours of card. The technique is lots of fun, but you have to persevere!! It looks like a hot mess in the middle, but stick around to the end of the video to see all of the beauty come back and you get this gorgeous unique look.

If you watch the end of the video you can also see how I added extra detail to the stamps. This is a beautiful technique inspired by the Zentangle for Cardmakers class from Altenew!! I’m really happy to say that I passed level 2 of my Altenew Certified Educator Program, so this is the first of my Level 3 modules. I thought the addition of this on top of the paint really added something to the card.
